T. Rajendiran
Correspondent

T. Rajendiran, a Chartered Accountant by profession, is one of the first educationalists, who took school education in Vellore to the next level. He is the Correspondent of Lakshmi Garden School and Springdays CBSE School. He also sits on the Academic Council Of Thiruvalluvar University. Mr. Rajendiran is also the founder and CEO of MasterJEE IIT Academy. He is the former Correspondent of Shrishti Group of (Shrishti Matric Hr. Sec. School, Shrishti Vidhyashram CBSE, Shri Manu Makhija Memorial Shrishti Matric. School). Under the tutelage of Mr. Rajendiran, all the above institutions have had their students gain admissions into premier engineering, medical and other colleges purely on merit each year. Alumni of these institutions are global achievers today, In the words Of the alumni-parents "Mr. Rajendiran has put Vellore on the education map of India".

As a youngster, I always wanted to start a school with good facilities, since I never got the opportunity to study in one. With Shrishti Group of Schools & Lakshmi Garden School, the past 20 years have enabled me and my wife, Ananthi, to follow our ambition of educating children. I see the results now, as the alumnus of my past institutions from all over the world meet me and are grateful for what the school has made of them. My institutions have proven to Vellore that it is possible to bring up a child with a well-rounded personality, academic excellence, and varied talents. With Springdays, my passion has gotten stronger and is represented in every part of the infrastructure and the programs that we offer our children. In a deliberate emphasis on quality over quantity, our huge building expanse of over 150000 Sq.ft. is astutely earmarked to accommodate just 2000 students. To keep ahead of time, my vision of an ideal school constantly expands its parameters, supported by inputs from Gen Z minds. I feel great pride in claiming that Springdays today is well-equipped to educate the children of tomorrow. As a furtherance of my vision, my maiden attempt at preparing students for State and National competitive exams, which started with Turning Point in 2003, has now escalated to gargantuan proportions in the form of MasterJEE. The phenomenal success of our students under the aegis of SDS and MasterJEE gives deep gratification to my soul. I thank God and the people of Vellore and seek their continued blessings for their future.

Ms. Ramya Sivakumar is a dynamic, new-age industry professional with over a decade of corporate leadership experience. With a steep belief in our long-standing educational practices, she brings new-age thinking and practices into the curriculum with a focus on building relevant skill sets for the future, her constant and undivided focus on constantly refining the curriculum forms the backbone of Springdays. She is also the founder of Fountainhead Leaders

(www.fountainheadleaders.com), a curriculum company, that develops curricula for instilling social-emotional skills in school children. She holds a B.E. Degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, and an M.S. Degree from the National University of Singapore. She holds 4 patents in the US Patent Office and is an author Of several books and articles.

The world today is on a brink of unprecedented change. Technologies are shaping our lives and jobs faster than we can envision. The advent of artificial intelligence, blockchain, machine learning, data analytics, low-cost computing power, and ubiquitous internet connectivity is disrupting every industry we know. The jobs of the future are unknown. The challenges of the future are unknown. How do we prepare our children, then? What do we prepare them for? Does our society realize this sea of change that is waiting for us? Do our educationalists realize this impending new world? The world of the future will demand a whole new range of skills, disparate and highly efficient. Mastery of digital languages and technology will be a fundamental requirement. Highly evolved human capabilities like creativity, empathy, critical thinking, strategic decision-making, etc., will come into play. As our children embed their footprint across global industries, it becomes imperative to stoke and strengthen their cutting edge of competence. We at Springdays aspire to do just that. I am truly happy and honored to head Springdays International school, an institution that enjoys a rich history of educational excellence, quality, and commitment to society over the years. I am humbled to lead and be among a team of dedicated and committed teachers, supportive parents, and wonderful learners. I am much excited and enthused to be part of this school and serve towards enriching the process through sincere and honest means to bring the total development of our learners and learning a happy journey in their life. Before joining this school, I worked at various levels and positions in India and different countries as a life science educator, English language educator, special educator, Cambridge coordinator, Department head, staff professional development trainer, and school head. With a career span of more than 20 years, I have learned and understood the best way to teach is to learn, as learning brings desirable changes in humans and to the mind process. Learning is discovering and understanding the truth in the process of knowing. The current trends in the education system are the tools the teacher needs to grasp and practice cohesively to be a part of the process. There are no special methods to teaching as every method is special when applied in the right direction, with the right intensity, and at the right time interval. The process needs to be checked, enhanced, and groomed at each phase. My emphasis and initiatives will be toward learners’ well-being and total development. To fulfill our goals, each learner has to become self-aware, develop a scientific attitude, self-inquiry, critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills,  research and investigative approaches, meaningful communication, and maintain good health. With continued efforts from all, let us begin the journey, keeping in mind that our learners are potential and in the process of transformation.
